Green homes

Builders choose to construct green homes for many reasons. These homes are energy efficient and environmentally friendly. They include energy efficient appliances and construction elements.

Green homes can be more expensive than other types of homes. But the higher cost is not noticeable after a few years of energy savings. This is because energy bills are naturally less in these types of homes.

Some builders build only green homes. These contractors will usually consider themselves to be environmentally friendly. However, they are only really environmentally friendly if their disposal processes are as well.
